On 24 November 2012,, Kuna Vijana C.E.O was invited by Daystar university students to give a talk on Peace and need to vote in coming elections at PAWA254

On 24 November 2012,, Kuna Vijana initiative Wanadamu in conjunction with Nakumatt and Dial a delivery visited the Pediatric ward at Kenyatta National Hospital to celebrate thank giving with them.

On 3 November 2012,, Aiesec Kenya invited Kuna Vijana C.E.O to give a speech on entrepreneurship during their annual conference at Kabarak university.

On 25 October 2012,, a presentation on how Kuna Vijana uses social media and Wanadamu was done to University of Nairobi, School of Business, Lower Kabete Campus during the Social Pro event.

On 13 October 2012,, Tatua Kenya invited the Wanadamu team to give a talk on Wanadamu as an initiative which is an example of a ground up solution

On 12 – 13 October 2012,, Wanadamu partnered with Kingsway tyres to do a blood drive in the City Centre and Village Market on the respective days.

On 29 September 2012,, Kuna Vijana visited Jikaze IDP camp to deliver in kind donations collected through networks and football kits for the two teams within the Jikaze community so as to motivate the boys, make them more competitive and also stay away from vices. The event was put together with the help of Twitter FC, Niaje.com, Pad Heaven and supported by Gor Mahia FC

On 13 September 2012, Kuna Vijana joined Niaje.com to do an event to raise money for Conjestina Achieng at Tamasha Hurlinghum.

On 4 JULY 2012, KUNA VIJANA’S Wanadamu initiative turned 1 year old having attended to over 200 appeals in Kenya with a growing database of over 7000 willing donors. The anniversary was celebrated at the MJ Centre graced by Dr. Dan Gikonyo as the chief guest.

On 14 FEBRUARY 2012, KUNA VIJANA’S Wanadamu initiative joined hands with Kenya Road Safety to do a love drives campaign where flowers were taken to road accident patients at Kenyatta National Hospital and National Spinal Injury Hospital.

On 9 September 2011, KUNA VIJANA’S Wanadamu initiative launched phase 2 of the project where a get well soon card is physically delivered to those we get donors to donate blood for them.

On 30th July 2011, KUNA VIJANA took part in the county level of the GATE (G-inue Annual Talent Explosion) competition in Bungoma.

On 16th July 2011, KUNA VIJANA was part of GATE (G-inue Annual Talent Explosion) an annual nationwide competition by Sanaa Arts in conjunction with Ministry of youth and Aphiaplus western. This was the district level of the competition.

On 15th July 2011, KUNA VIJANA was part ‘Sauti za Mabinti’ an event that was hosted at Goethe Insitut with the aim of focusing and redefining the role of women in the hip-hop culture.

On 4th July 2011, KUNA VIJANA officially launched the WANADAMU initiative triggered to reduce the number of people who die as a result of little or no blood.

On 25th September 2010, there was an event to mark the climax of international youth week. Kuna Vijana and Sanaa Arts was part of the event and together we were enhancing community development through talent support and resource mobilization for our youth.

On August 8th 2010 – Kuna Vijana took part in Open Mic hosted by Adelle at Nairobi International School. Open mic is a monthly poetry event held in Nairobi and acts as an avenue for poets to showcase their work. On this day, the theme was PEACE.

On July 26th 2010 – Kuna Vijana was invited by Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) for a breakfast meeting where we deliberated to map out a post- referendum strategy and to ensure that Kenyans are adequately prepared for a post- referendum results regardless of the outcome.

On April 3rd 2010 – Kuna Vijana in conjunction with G.D.O (Gals Day Out) visited resettled IDPs in Jikaze Camp, Naivasha. We conducted interactive as well as informative talks with the youths of the camp and managed to donate a 50kg sack of Unga for ‘Jivumu Aids Self-help Group’ a HIV/AIDS group in the camp. We also delivered donations from our members.

On February 20th 2010 – Kuna Vijana members in Eldoret had a members meeting at ANNEX campus to discuss Kuna Vijana in Eldoret in the year 2010 for Kuna Vijana has a lot planned. Members also got to register officially, know more about Kuna Vijana and have their questions and suggestions addressed.

On December 19th 2009 – Kuna Vijana in conjunction with the Clan visited Jikaze community to wish them a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year. Donations of water storage containers (Drums and buckets), food stuff, clothes, sanitary towels and footballs were delivered.
